New Productivity-Enhancing Service for Mobile Workers Debuts at DEMO
“We’ve created a system that is simple to use, requires no extra software and helps to improve the productivity of busy executives and mobile teams by about 30 minutes every day while allowing the executive to leave the laptop at home,” said Thomas Utsch, founder and CEO of Eeminder. “And there’s never a need to install, maintain or log into a third-party application or Website.”
The system uses the standard email client on a handheld PDA as the primary mobile user interface, allowing users of BlackBerry devices, Treos, Good, and Pocket PCs to:
• Manage the status of tasks and projects
• Examine and modify their own and others’ deadlines
• Set reminder alarms
• Access and update contact information and history
• See real time traffic information (in Southern California only)
“Eeminder has introduced impressive new thinking to the challenge of being productive while outside the office environment,” said Chris Shipley, executive producer of the DEMO conferences. “It’s platform agnostic, too, which is smart. I look forward to using it on my PDA.”
