Fair Play Love Affair to Continue

(PRWEB) March 2, 2006 -- New website Kitchaloo.com claims to be “The UK’s fairest tradesmen directory”. The claim is backed by over 500 businesses who have already registered with the website, indicating the British love affair with fair play seems set to continue.

Kitchaloo.com allows users to search for local tradesmen. However, contrary to other directories, tradesmen listings are displayed by distance from the user only.

Neil Smith (25), founder of Kitchaloo.com said: “We found that tradesmen were frustrated by directories that ordered businesses alphabetically and sold expensive priority ads. We created this tradesmen directory to level the playing field for small businesses.”

Businesses can register on Kitchaloo.com for an annual fee of £30. “We found that businesses want to be able to see immediate results when they use websites like ours. With Kitchaloo, businesses can become listed and start generating more business leads in minutes”, he added.

Neil, one of a new breed of young entrepreneurs who knows no national borders, moved to Belgium to be with his girlfriend and continues to run his UK based company from there.

“National boundaries and physical location no longer play an important role in being able to run a successful business. The new economy is all about giving great service at great value no matter where you are in the world”, he said.

Neil came up with the name for the website in bed and is a cross between “kitchen” and “loo”. “We hope it will stick in peoples minds”, he added.
