At the FundingUniverse Utah SpeedPitching Luncheon, selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their business plans to 20-30 accredited investors. While “pitching” their businesses, entrepreneurs will make key connections which can put them one step closer to obtaining seed funding. Investors will see up to 10 pre-screened companies; allowing investors to hear new business plans, make connections, and request future appointments. The event is a perfect opportunity for a bootstrapping entrepreneur, with limited resources, to meet investors who can help them grow a business.

Each business opportunity will be reviewed and evaluated by the Funding Universe selection committee. Feedback on the quality of the business opportunity will be provided. Those entrepreneurs selected for presentation at the SpeedPitching event will be given additional assistance.

Registration Process

Investors:
1.    If you are a member already, simply RSVP with the link at the top right of this page. If you are not currently a member, please register (it's free) as a FundingUniverse.com member, then...
2.    RSVP at the top right of this page to reserve your spot.

Entrepreneurs:
1.    Register (or if you are a member, simply login) on FundingUniverse as an entrepreneur. Fill out the profile and post your executive summary .
2.    After you have posted your plan, please register for the event by clicking the button at the top right of this page. Your application should include the following: an executive summary (a two-five page description defining and positioning your business idea).

Fees

Entrepreneur:
        Application Fee: $25
        Presenting Fee (if selected): $500
        Additional Presenters: $25 per presenter (limit of two presenters)

Investor:
        Event Fee: FREE
