Seattle LivePitch Event Details
What Is LivePitch?
At LivePitch, early stage entrepreneurs have 5 minutes to pitch to a panel of experts and a live audience in order to:
Everyone at LivePitch receives $100 of "fake money" to "invest" in their favorite entrepreneurs, with prizes awarded to 2 panel and audience favorites. There will be 60 minutes of pitching, and 30 minutes for general networking.
Guidelines for Attendance
Presenting entrepreneurs, investors, and others in the startup community are all invited to attend. However, LivePitch is uniquely structured with clear guidelines for attendance and participation. These guidelines are attached in this email and will be available at the door, to help you know what to expect and how to get the biggest benefit from attending.
Cost to Attend, Pitch
Our first Seattle LivePitch will feature "adjustable pricing". In other words, there is no pre-defined price— at the event, we'll invite you to fill out a short survey and pay what you consider fair market value for attending.
The reason we're doing this is because the entrepreneurial community has specifically asked to be included in defining a price point for pitching that is affordable and fair, and we're accommodating that request. We'll accept cash, credit, or check at the event, and have a list of suggested prices available, to prevent any awkward moments.
Expectations
To be clear, LivePitch is not a fundraising event. Please do not apply to pitch or attend with the expectation that investment offers will be a natural or immediate outflow of this event. SpeedPitch, on the other hand, is targeted toward connecting entrepreneurs and investors. We will begin holding our trademarked SpeedPitch events in Seattle later this summer.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, June 12th. Applicants will be selected and notified by June 13th, with a mandatory one hour webinar coaching session prior to the event.
