At FundingUniverse, our #1 goal is to help entrepreneurs through the fundraising process.  We have several core business philosophies that guide our actions with every entrepreneur that signs up to our site:

• Be prepared:  100% of entrepreneurs want to get in front of an investor today, but only 2% of them are actually prepared.
• Give brutally honest feedback:  if we don't tell you, no one will.
• Encourage spendthrift & scrappy planning:  every entrepreneur should be a bootstrapper.
• Emphasize generating revenue & “traction”:  there are too many pre-revenue businesses that need to take the first step of getting revenue before they approach an investor or bank.
• Teach real-life principles:  we can't stand the text book.  Everything that we teach will be real life stuff.

For those that are sufficiently prepared, we want to provide exposure and access to our investor network.  Entrepreneurs can post their business plan to our network of over 700+ investors, search our database of over 1600+ investment groups, personally contact 10 investors/month, get feedback at a LivePitch event, and/or pitch investors at our SpeedPitching events.
